Modernize App Delivery, Visibility and Security with A10 at Microsoft Ignite

Microsoft Ignite 2017 looks like it will be a scorcher, and A10 Networks is bringing the heat.

We’ll be on hand throughout the event (Sept. 25 through Sept. 29 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando) discussing how to modernize application and workload delivery, visibility and security in any type of environment, including Microsoft Azure, bare metal, virtual, physical and hybrid.

Come visit us at booth No. 1033. We’ll have a host of in-booth demos and speaking sessions during which you’ll hear more about how to accelerate, analyze and secure your critical business applications.

A10 and Microsoft

A10 customers look to us to partner with best-of-breed infrastructure and service providers – it gives them the confidence to run their applications and services at the levels expected.

We collaborate with Microsoft to provide new ways to engage and support our customers with secure hybrid application delivery solutions.

A10’s appliance solutions are used for popular Microsoft enterprise applications, specifically, A10 Thunder ADCs are certified by Microsoft to deliver availability (load balancing), application acceleration and security for Skype, Exchange and Office 365.

At A10, we’re also doubling down on software, virtualization and hybrid cloud, which will extend and expand our relationship with Microsoft – both as an alliance partner and a customer. By working with Microsoft cloud, we help our customers to transform their infrastructures with scalability, flexibility and security delivered by Azure.

In September, A10 will expand its efforts with Microsoft by fully integrating its Lightning ADC with Azure, allowing users to create an auto-cluster and spin up instances in Microsoft cloud. Additionally, Harmony Controller will run on Azure Container as a Service – these integrations will help our customers in their software and hybrid cloud journey.

And A10’s Thunder and vThunder ADC solutions enable enterprises, service providers, web giants and government organizations to accelerate, secure and optimize the performance of their traditional on-premise and hybrid cloud applications and networks. A10’s vThunder is available in the Azure cloud with either a pay-as-you-go license or Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model for outsourcing DevOps and hybrid cloud deployments or fully outsourcing IT infrastructure. vThunder software appliances also support Azure Government cloud.

A10’s solutions running on Azure also help customers trim their infrastructure and capital operational costs, which is a prime IT directive.

App Delivery, Visibility in Any Environment

At Microsoft Ignite, you’ll learn how A10 Thunder ADC offers a wide range of Layer 4-7 networking and security services to optimize delivery of enterprise and cloud native applications. And how A10 empowers IT administrators to integrate numerous capabilities in one platform to ensure the availability, responsiveness and security of web-based apps.

A10 ADCs can be deployed on-premise and in any cloud to deliver advanced HTTP traffic management, application acceleration to overcome WAN related latencies and to secure your applications from zero day attacks.

Replacing numerous point products with a single A10 Thunder ADC while eliminating redundant servers provides swift ROI with reduced management complexity.

A10’s Thunder ADC portfolio is available as a physical, virtual or hybrid appliance and an on-demand service through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Along with Thunder ADC, we’ll highlight how A10 Lightning ADC and Harmony Controller integrates with Microsoft Azure. Harmony Controller delivers centralized management and analytics for secure application services in any underlying infrastructure — from traditional on-premise environments to public, private and hybrid clouds.

Harmony Controller is available in two deployment models: as a SaaS offering managed by A10 or as a customer-managed, scalable software solution within a customer’s environment in data centers or clouds, including Azure. Harmony Controller delivers granular per-app analytics across A10 Lightning ADC, Thunder ADC bare metal, virtual and hardware appliances, along with third-party HAProxy instances.

Secure Your Apps

At Microsoft Ignite we’ll also share more details about our security portfolio, which reduces your risk by protecting applications and infrastructure against malicious cyberattacks, such as multi-vector DDoS attacks and encrypted assaults.

A10 delivers on-premises and cloud-based security solutions to protect applications and services in real time, before attacks can exploit them.

For example, A10 Thunder TPS surgically detects and mitigates megabit to terabit DDoS attacks at the network edge. It is the world’s highest-performance DDoS protection solution, providing a whopping 300 Gbps of throughput and 440 Mpps in mitigation capacity. Thunder TPS is available as a physical or virtual appliance.

And A10 Thunder SSLi is a full-proxy decryption solution that enables organizations to decrypt SSL traffic once, then inspect multiple times to analyze and mitigate SSL-based attacks. Thunder SSLi can scale to 40 Gbps of SSL inspection throughput and supports complex 4096-bit key sizes, DHE and ECDHE ciphers.

Meanwhile, Thunder ADC also features integrated security controls to protect app and DNS services from website and DDoS attacks, and includes application access management (AAM), web application firewall (WAF), DNS application firewall (DAF) and advanced cipher SSL offload capabilities. And Lightning ADC is full-proxy software that offers defense against emerging threats that target application vulnerabilities. Lightning ADC includes a WAF, application layer DDoS and botnet protection, SSL offload and access controls that block admission based on HTTP request information.
