Automation Fuels Modernization and Move to Cloud, Software
Organizations are turning to automation to modernize their network infrastructure. One way they’re doing this is through the use of software defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV).
And choice of consumption model, whether it’s on-premise, cloud or virtualization, becomes a major consideration as businesses evaluate their futures. It’s not about hardware versus software or on-premise versus cloud, it’s about how to blend these solutions together and efficiently leverage hybrid solutions.
A10 has a three-pronged cloud strategy aimed expressly at helping customers modernize their infrastructure:
- A10 offers a rich portfolio of secure application services that sit at the critical intersection of security and application delivery, including SSL decryption, DDoS protection, firewalls, IPv4 preservation and IPv6 migration, and traditional application delivery.
- A10 delivers centralized management of application services across environments with Harmony Controller, which provides central management and analytics across platforms. Harmony Controller has helped shape A10’s multi-cloud strategy, and partner integrations with VMware, AWS, Microsoft Azure and OpenStack further gives customers additional choices.
- A10 offers flexible consumption choice whether customers want to consume applications services in the cloud, on-premise or in a hybrid configuration.
A10 also recently launched FlexPool, a new software subscription model that delivers additional choice and flexibility for customers. FlexPool is a capacity pool license that’s available across A10 software platforms, including virtual, bare metal and Lightning ADC.
FlexPool is available now in one-year or three-year subscriptions and with several capacity pool options, including 10G, 50G, 100G and custom. Gold support and software upgrades are included.
