Rapidly Increasing Market Share in Japan Provides Sales Strategy for South Asia Regional Expansion
SAN JOSE, CA, April 20, 2011 -- A10 Networks™, the technology leader in Application Networking, today announced that A10 Networks Japan CEO, Hayato Koeda, has assumed the additional position of Vice President of South Asia. Within the last 12 months, the company's sales in Japan have tripled as a result of gaining market share for its flagship AX Series Application Delivery Controllers and several strategic wins for its IPv6 migration solutions. For the calendar first quarter, A10's Japan revenue doubled from the same period in 2010.
South Asia countries are very diverse and currently enjoying a robust economy. A10 aims to bring the successful experiences of its Japan subsidiary into South Asia. In addition to the Southeast Asia countries where it has sales operations today, A10 intends to expand its sales operations into India, Australia and New Zealand within the next six months. A10 aims to invest significantly in the South Asia market over the coming year by promoting partnerships with both existing and new partners in this region and by strengthening sales to large enterprises and carriers.
