AX Series Advanced Traffic Manager Continues Momentum with Three Prestigious Awards
SAN JOSE, CA. - Jan. 22, 2008 -- A10 Networks® today announced its AX Series Advanced Traffic Manager appliances won server load balancer of the year for 2007 by China Computer World magazine, as announced in the publication's January 14, 2008 issue. Annually, China Computer World magazine selects the best product for the year in a variety of categories to award this prestigious honor. The AX Series is a new generation server load balancer that includes a revolutionary Advanced Core Operating System (ACOS) with multi-core CPU system, which leaps the incumbents in performance, reliability and scalability.
In 2007, the AX Series also won Best of Interop Las Vegas in the "Application Networks and Performance" category and Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo in the "Network Infrastructure (middle range)" category – beating many competitors. The AX Series was the only server load balancing device for the Interop Tokyo "Shownet," where it load balanced live IPv4, IPv6 and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) traffic that was used by thousands of concurrent users at the event.
