A10 Networks and Anchiva Systems Sign Partnership to Co-Develop "Identity-Aware" Network Security Solutions

Anchiva Integrates A10's Instant IP-to-ID Resolution into its Enterprise Content Security Appliances

January 8, 2007 - A10 Networks™ and Anchiva Systems, Inc, a leading manufacturer of enterprise content security appliances for the Internet gateway, today announced a partnership through which Anchiva will integrate A10's IP address-to-Identity (IP-to-ID™) resolution technology as a feature of its Anchiva Enterprise Content Security Appliances. Anchiva's high-speed content security appliances establish a central security point at the Internet gateway for all inbound and outbound Web and email traffic, protecting all entries into customers' networks.

Instant IP to Identity Resolution with A10 Networks' IP-to-ID Service A10 Networks' IP-to-ID Service provides fast and automated identity resolution for virtually any application that requires the correlation of IP or MAC addresses to user identity. The integration of A10's automated identity forensics capabilities into the Anchiva Enterprise Content Security Appliances allows Anchiva Systems to continue offering a unique value to its customers around the world by arming them with instant access to identity information as part of their overall high-speed network security platforms.

Previously, resolving network activity or IP or MAC addresses to individual user identity required manual correlation, literally hunting through thousands of DHCP, DNS, or domain log events - which could add hours to forensics processes, and leave networks vulnerable to infection or attack. By automating user identity tracking and instantly tying network activity back to the identity of the end user, the Anchiva Enterprise Content Security Appliances can streamline troubleshooting and quarantine efforts and deliver powerful auditing capabilities for regulatory compliance.

"A10 Networks' technology allows Anchiva's solution to provide additional value to our customers," said Charles Clark, CEO of Anchiva Systems. "Spyware infections can seriously undermine the security of an enterprise and IP-to-ID technology can quickly pinpoint the dangerous infections."

"Anchiva and A10 Networks are providing enterprise security tools with A10's industry-leading IP-to-ID technology," said Lee Chen, CEO of A10 Networks. "Automated identity forensic capabilities will improve the way IT engineers resolve security and network problems and we will continue to work with innovative companies like Anchiva to bring this capability to enterprises of all sizes."
