Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Enters Into Exclusive Reseller Agreement With A10 Networks

SAN JOSE, CA, April 25, 2006 - A10 Networks™, a pioneer in delivering a new class of identity-aware network solutions, today announced that it has entered into an exclusive reseller agreement with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. for the Japanese market. Upon entering the exclusive relationship, Mitsui will formally introduce A10's IDsentrie appliance in Japan. IDsentrie and future A10 products will be supported through Mitsui's subsidiary company, Bussan Networks, Ltd.

With the enforcement of the Personal Information Protection Act in April 2005, and the upcoming Japanese version of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Japanese businesses today are faced with increasing demands for tight network access control and regulatory compliance. IDsentrie is a cost effective, purpose-built, hardened appliance which provides access management and centralized management of data stores. Through the strategic partnership with A10 Networks, Mitsui will be introducing IDsentrie to meet the demands of the upcoming regulatory compliance era in the Japanese market.

Today, IT managers are tasked with high overhead and manual procedures as account information is commonly spread out amongst multiple data stores throughout the organization. As new authentication and access methods are required by a proliferation of new applications, companies have been forced to adopt additional data stores - each with their own set of requirements and identity objects to manage. The complexity of managing account information can also lead to the growth of undeleted user accounts, which also presents a network security risk.

A10's IDsentrie appliance unites several useful identity and access management components with networking features such as powerful authentication, centralized data store management, event log management, and reporting to simplify user account management, reduce IT complexity, improve network security, and increase visibility throughout the network. All of these rich features are tightly integrated in an affordable, drop-in appliance that can be deployed with minimal disruption to the existing network, and deliver fast ROI.
