For A10, What Happens in Vegas Ends up on NatGeo

Despite popular belief – or perhaps just wishful thinking — what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. (But you already sort of knew that anyway, right?)

That’s how the A10 Networks logo ended up prominently featured on National Geographic Channel’s popular science TV series Street Genius, in which host and engineer Tim Shaw performs experiments related to physics, chemistry and engineering and asks passers-by to predict the experiments’ outcomes.

In this particular episode, Shaw and his film crew brought a group of contestants to an ice bar in Las Vegas to ask the question: What happens when you remove the air from a glass of water?

The segment was filmed just before A10 Networks and Cylance hosted a reception in the same location celebrating our cybersecurity partnership. Hence, the visibility of the A10 logo behind Shaw throughout the segment. Watch a clip here.

We had a great time celebrating A10’s partnership with Cylance, through which we work together to integrate real-time cybersecurity to defeat encrypted attacks.

The partnership will expand A10’s security solution capabilities and deliver advanced threat detection for encrypted traffic. A10 will integrate CylancePROTECT with the SSL Insight (SSLi) decryption technology available with the A10 Thunder CFW and Thunder SSLi platforms. The integrated solution is expected to arrive in early 2017 and will be available via subscription service to A10 customers.
