A10 Focuses on the Future at Microsoft Inspire 2018

“I’ve lived through the client-server, the web, mobile, cloud. But what we’re going to see going forward is going to be even more profound.”

With those words, Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, opened this year’s Microsoft Inspire conference.

Microsoft is focusing on intelligent cloud and intelligent edge services built on an ubiquitous distributed computing fabric. The conventional idea of a datacenter is receding, to be replaced by a new paradigm that places computing power where data is located. And where data is located is Office 365.

Attackers know that over 58 percent of all sensitive corporate data is stored in Microsoft Office 365. Despite the powerful security built into the application, a series of high-profile breaches and attempted breaches have made headlines in recent years, Long-lived, active connections and resulting increases in traffic can overwhelm typical proxy servers, which are not designed or optimized for demanding cloud applicatons like Office 365.

At this year’s Microsoft Inspire event, A10 Networks presented solutions to meet these challenges. A10 CASB and Cloud Proxy for Office 365 are designed to augment existing infrastructure, intelligently routing TCP and UDP traffic to use multiple uplinks while providing enhanced security features, such as tenant access control and birdirectional SSL visibility.

As Microsoft sets the direction for enterprise computing, A10 is focused on providing better security, an intuitive user experience platform, and automated app delivery to serve the needs of enterprises undergoing transformations driven by cloud, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
