Course: Introduction to Bandwidth Management with Identity
and the A10
Networks EX Series
Level:
Beginner to Intermediate
Course Fee:
$1500 USD. The course fee includes lunch on each day of training but does not include travel, lodging, other meals, incidentals or any other such expenses.
Prerequisites:
To attend the class the user should have a working knowledge of:
- Basic switching and routing knowledge
- Basic WAN topologies including FW placement
- Basic TCP/IP networking
- Application protocols
- Windows or Unix/Linux experience
Please bring a Microsoft Windows based laptop to the class configured with
an Ethernet NIC card. You must have administrative rights to the computer.
Content:
The course is comprised of basic to intermediate level instruction on link
load balancing, bandwidth management, application and identity based network
monitoring.
Objectives:
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- Understand how to monitor the network through reports and alerts
- Understand how to maximize the network efficiency through application of
QoS BM policies
- Understand how to design link redundancy for outbound internet traffic,
and also inbound network services
- Understand how to connect the EX Series to ID Series to enhance rules and
reports through identity
