NETWORK AUTHENTICATION
Prevent Unauthorized Network Access
Network and security engineers understand the complexity of deploying secure wired, wireless, remote access, and open Internet access solutions to satisfy corporate computing needs in a global environment. The ability to lock down network access quickly and easily has not always been easy as multiple authentication systems and data stores are not synchronized or centrally managed. Decentralized security and access controls are difficult for most employees to use and increase security risks as access points are not fully managed and visible from one central management platform.
IDsentrie’s Network Authentication and Access Control technology increases authentication security while making it easier for employees to gain access to corporate resources. It integrates Central Account Management, User Self-Help Services and a wealth of activity tracking and audit reports with popular network authentication protocols such as RADIUS and 802.1X to allow IT managers to centralize critical network access and authentication activities.
- RADIUS Server
Provides robust authentication services for organizations’ RADIUS authentication needs. Supports the latest RADIUS protocols for wireless, wired, remote access, and the latest perimeter security applications. Also, IDsentrie's Authentication Proxy service can forward RADIUS and 802.1X authentication requests to existing directory services such as Active Directory, NT 4.0, LDAP, Solaris, and others to help reduce the number of accounts and passwords users have to remember to conduct their daily activities.
- 802.1X/EAP Authentication
Supports 802.1X and Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) protocols for wireless, wired, remote access, and the latest perimeter security applications.
- Authentication Proxy
Leverages existing data stores to authenticate all network access devices – allowing rapid deployment of new access technologies such as SSL VPN, secure wireless, port-based switch authentication, firewall authentication, and many others without the need to create new user accounts for employees to manage.
- Authentication SDK
Redirects authentication requests to a centralized corporate data store to help organizations reduce the dependency of using a different local data store for each of their "home-grown" applications.
- Authenticated DHCP
Quarantines all non-authenticated users, providing an easy and seamless way to prevent unauthorized network access without taking the effort to roll out more labor intensive technologies such as 802.1X or Network Access Control (NAC).
- Access and Audit Reporting
Provides rich identity-based reports, logs and alerts for all authentication functions to enhance auditing and long term record retention.
