A10 Networks' AX Series Wins Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo 2008 AX Series Advanced Traffic Manager is Selected as the Best Carrier/ISP Solution for its Comprehensive IPv6 Solutions and Innovative Web Application Delivery Platform
The AX Series was also invited to be the only server load balancing (SLB) device for the Interop Tokyo ShowNet, where the AX Series load balanced live IPv4/IPv6 traffic while demonstrating superior IPv6 performance and IPv4/IPv6 Network Address Translation (NAT). In the ShowNet, the AX Series exhibited minimal performance difference between IPv4 SLB and IPv6 SLB, clearly outperforming competing solutions that experience greater than 50 percent performance degradation when moving from IPv4 SLB to IPv6 SLB. This latest award extends the AX Series winning streak. The AX Series also won Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo 2007 in the Network Infrastructure (middle range) category, in addition to winning Best of Interop Las Vegas 2007 in the Application Networks and Performance category, which is a unique distinction. The AX Series earns these honors as a next-generation server load balancer with a cutting-edge Advanced Core Operating System (ACOS) architecture, easily surpassing the incumbents in performance, reliability and scalability. "We are honored to be the Grand Prix/Best of Interop Tokyo winner two years in a row," said Lee Chen, founder and CEO for A10 Networks. "Our award-winning AX Series continues to garner market success by its superior performance based on innovative design. With the AX Series, A10 Networks delivers a highly scalable and high performance Web Application Delivery platform, continuing our innovative solutions for constantly evolving Internet applications."
