A10 Networks Announces Global Expansion Hires Industry Veterans to Build Market Presence in APAC and EMEA SAN JOSE, CA, Oct. 2, 2006 - A10 Networks™, a pioneer in delivering a new class of identity-aware network solutions, today announced global expansion into the APAC and EMEA regions. The company appointed John Wei as managing director and MT Huang as systems engineering (SE) director, both for the APAC region and initially based in Taiwan. A10 Networks also appointed Will Palmer as managing director and Matthew Perry as technical director, both for the EMEA region and located in the UK. The four industry veterans bring extensive APAC and EMEA market experience to A10 Networks, which has an existing presence in the Americas, China and Japan. The expansion into APAC and EMEA marks a significant milestone for A10 Networks as it reaches new regions to deliver its award-winning identity management appliance, the IDsentrie™. In their managing and technical roles, the four new directors will be responsible for sales and partnerships and maintaining channel and customer support in their respective APAC and EMEA regions.
Leading A10 Networks in APAC
MT Huang, SE director, has over 20 years of technical and management experience in the networking industry. He comes to A10 Networks from Trapeze Networks, where he was a technical manager for the Asia Pacific Region, responsible for delivering enterprise-class WLAN solutions to the region. Mr. Huang also served in system engineering and technical positions at 3Com, Digital Equipment Corp., and Foundry Networks. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taiwan.
Leading A10 Networks in EMEA
Matthew Perry, technical director, has 20 years of experience in building technical sales organizations for networking companies such as Cisco Systems, Airespace, Force10 and Foundry Networks. Prior to joining A10 Networks, Mr. Perry was responsible for business development and technical marketing for Cisco Systems' mobility and wireless products. "We are excited for the opportunity to expand A10 Networks into the APAC and EMEA regions for a global market presence," said Lee Chen, president and CEO of A10 Networks. "Our four new directors bring a wealth of experience and will be instrumental in building the regional sales, partner and customer networks to compliment our existing team for worldwide success."
