By supporting Microsoft's NAP technology, A10 is demonstrating its commitment to open standards, interoperability and helping businesses of all sizes simplify and optimize identity management within their networks.

Microsoft's NAP technology is a comprehensive platform infrastructure that allows system administrators to monitor and control access to corporate networks as well as update non-compliant devices. IDsentrie Integration with Microsoft's NAP Program
A10's IDsentrie appliance, in cooperation with Microsoft's NAP Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), can be part of an enabling infrastructure for the enforcement of non-compliant devices for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and others such as 802.1x and Virtual Private Networking (VPN). IDsentrie also automates management of user authentication databases and quickly correlates identity information with Internet Protocol (IP) address information. This feature reduces management complexity and security risk by instantly connecting security alerts to the identity of the individual generating the traffic, tasks that today are managed manually by most medium-small companies, and consume substantial chunks of IT staff time.
