A10 Networks Opens Beijing Sales Office, Signs Five Channel Partners to Bring Identity-Aware Network Solutions to Chinese Customers SAN JOSE, CA, Jan. 30, 2006 -- A10 Networks™, a pioneer in delivering a new class of identity-aware network solutions, today announced it has opened a sales office in Beijing, China, and signed agreements with five leading technology resellers and distributors to bring its line of Identity and Access Management appliances to customers in China. A10's Chinese sales team will be led by Scott Su, an 18-year veteran of Silicon Valley, and a former sales management and business development executive at companies such as Verio, Fortinet and Cisco. Su holds a MBA in Information and Marketing and a BS in Computer Software from Xian Jiao-Tong University. A10's new channel partners include distribution partner An Tong Hong Ye Technologies, Ltd. and reseller partners Guangzhou Topwhip Technologies Co., Ltd.; Beijing PYXT Technologies Co., Ltd.; Beijing CaseTech Develop Co., Ltd.; and Eu-Link Network Technologies Co., Ltd. A10's Identity and Access Management products combine authentication, centralized data store management and strong security features in a hardened, drop-in appliance. A10's first product, the IDsentrie system, unites several useful Identity and Access Management components with networking and security features to deliver centralized, automated management and unparalleled visibility into network activity. A10's products are designed to deliver fast ROI and immediate benefits to businesses by helping them solve their most complex security management, monitoring and end user access issues. Industry research firm IDC expects the worldwide Identity and Access Management market will double over the next three years from approximately $2B today to more than $4B in 2009, while research firm the Gartner Group predicts convergence of the Identity and Access Management with the security market segment. With its combination of features, A10's new class of appliances is positioned squarely at the intersection of these two converging and fast-growing market segments. "We are offering a versatile and easy-to-use appliance in a market that has been dominated by complex software-based products that many businesses found too costly and disruptive to deploy," said Lee Chen, CEO of A10 Networks. "Many organizations around the world are looking for simpler solutions that will help them solve identity management, network monitoring and security issues immediately, without breaking their IT budgets. We are pleased to expand our sales & marketing footprint in China through partnerships with these experienced resellers."
